It’s a beautiful Friday and I feel this day is like the perfect day to ponder on what I will be sharing today. Good morning trailblazers ✨.
There are billions of people in the world who are still on the run to discover what their identity is all about and how to be it. Identity cannot be found when you look for it in the wrong places. If you are looking for thread, you need to get it at the tailor’s store and not an electronic house. You may ask what makes up our identity? Is it bound to your job, relationship, culture, career, gender, skills?. I think I should let you know that Identity birth a question; WHO AM I?. These titles definitely do not make up your identity because they can cease from existing. Doug Cooper says that “Identity cannot be fabricated but emerges from within when one has the courage to let go of self”.In search of identity, there is a need to let go of who you think you are and allow the real you to emerge. An identity makes you be real and confident without having to live another man’s life. Your soul is who you are. Your body and mind are what you use to experience who you are.

The question of identity is a question for the direction that will propel you towards destiny fulfillment. What I am saying is that your identity cannot be found outside God. In other words, Identity is the capacity to realize your life purpose and live it. The most important days in your life is the day you were born and the day you discover why. You can’t afford to roam the street of the earth aimlessly without realizing the one thing that distinguishes you from the crowd. Your identity gives you a trademark that is known to you alone. A perfect example is the carbonated drinks we consume like Coke and Pepsi. Truly, they serve the same purpose to refresh our thirst but everyone can differentiate between a coke bottle from a Pepsi bottle. Your identity is your signature in life. What can people associate with you that tells who you are?. Dear readers, please make it a priority to discover your essential self by giving yourself totally to God to help you with the answer to your identity. The question of identity is answered and found when we stop being who we are and start becoming who we were created to be. Remember, you are a masterpiece in God’s hand and only the creator gets to define His creation.

Here are some pointer to helping answer the question of identity. I can only try to inform and help you in this journey but the bulk of the work lies in your hand because identity is not what anyone can help you to discover. You have to do it yourself and be intentional about it if you really do want a place in this world. Cheers to the journey of an identity!!πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚

  1. Go TO GOD: I think I should ask you this question? Tell me, who knows you better than God? The scripture made us understand that He knows you even before you were formed. He knows every single detail about you and your identity can only be found in Christ and answered by Him. He molds you for a purpose, only Him knows your identity. We have started clearly that our jobs, relationship, etc do not give rise to our identity rather who you are is in Christ. I love the book of Ephesians so much. You can begin your journey to identity by studying this particular book in the bible. If you do not seek Him to ask what your identity is all about, I’m afraid there wouldn’t be anything extra to the outcome of your life. When you go to God, He gives you a sense of purpose and meaning to who you are. “Unless we base our sense of identity upon the truth of who we are. It is impossible to attain happiness in life”- Brenda shadhonna. If you do not want to feel miserable for the rest of your life, Go to God today!.2. KNOW THE WORD: To know who you are is the beginning of wisdom. To know who you are, it’s important to know the word. Every manufacturer has a manual for the user to efficiently manage and operate the object in a better way. God is the manufacturer and His manual to you and me is the Bible in order to help us navigate through life and live a life of meaning that He has bestowed upon us. How do we know our identity if we don’t have the vibes to study the Bible?. You can never do it better without God and His word to you. All that you seek is in the written word to us. Get yourself connected to the world today.

  2. WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN: When you begin the journey to studying the Bible, God has something to tell you per time but often times, we are just not sensitive to it. The Bible is a passage God uses to communicate to us. Hence, as you give yourself to bible study, be sensitive, and write single details down. Remember, He knows you better than you know yourself.

.4. TAKE ACTION: God hasn’t spoken to you to abandon it. You must begin to take action towards what He has created you for. It really might not make sense to you but it does to Him. Take action today and He will help you discover who you truly are and what He has designed you for. Take action and Trust Him.

Conclusively, knowing who you are is to be able to move through life with confidence in who you are and created for. However, discovering your identity takes time, it will not happen overnight, you discover it piece by piece as you journey through life. It’s a slow process but greatly rewarding. This is also the time to look inwardly about yourself and note down your strength. Get curious about your identity today. There is a God who is more than able to help you fix this puzzle. I hope that in your search for identity, you get to know God and His word to you while journaling everything He says to you as you take action towards who you are.

Thank you for your time here. I hope you’re blessed and inspired. Kindly share please. Don’t forget to have an amazing day. Love and Light. πŸ’™βœ¨
